Compliance Analyst
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
We’re working with a well-established financial services business, who are looking to hire a Compliance Analyst to strengthen their compliance function.
This is a junior-to-intermediate opportunity, ideal for someone with around 2 years’ compliance experience who is ready to step into a role where they can hit the ground running and take ownership of core compliance activities.
The role
Due to increasing workload at senior level, this role has been created to support the day-to-day “production” aspects of compliance, freeing up senior stakeholders to focus on higher-value work. You’ll be involved in a broad range of regulatory and compliance tasks, gaining exposure while building strong foundational experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Horizon scanning and tracking regulatory developments
* Supporting the maintenance and updating of compliance policies and handbooks
* Assisting with regulatory monitoring and reporting activities
* Handling lower-level compliance tasks and production work
* Supporting the wider compliance team across day-to-day requirements
What we’re looking for
* Some existing compliance experience (circa 2 years is ideal)
* Regulatory experience is essential, with a strong preference for consumer credit exposure
* Familiarity with horizon scanning and compliance documentation (policies, handbooks, procedures)
* A practical, hands-on mindset – able to pick things up quickly and add value from day one
* Someone keen to learn and develop within a growing compliance function
