This is an exciting role within a re‑shaped and forward‑thinking business development and marketing operations team which provides integrated marketing, digital services, client relationship management and business development expertise to the business.

As Business Development Senior Executive you will work as part of a high performing, well regarded Business Development team, supporting the Real Estate Business Development Manager to support the growth, client acquisition, revenue generation and marketing initiatives for the Real Estate division/Market. You will assist in the execution of innovative, incisive and value‑added business development and marketing activities to ensure that the key objectives of the firm and Real Estate business plans are achieved.

You will collaborate closely with other division and sector business development teams, as well as the client relationship team to ensure opportunities to cross‑sell the business are maximised and contribute to firm‑wide campaigns and initiatives.

Division Overview

Our Real Estate group is one of the largest real estate teams in the UK, advising an impressive range of clients including commercial and residential developers, investors, major corporate occupiers and banks/funders. Key Responsibilities

* Develop a deep understanding of the Real Estate division’s and wider firm’s clients and services, contribute to horizon scanning and opportunity spotting activities.
* Work with the BD Manager to develop, implement and review business development and marketing plans for the Real Estate division and chosen markets.
* Provide support with the strategic planning and tactical delivery of integrated campaigns and client targeting activities which include Real Estate division projects, event coordination (with support from the events team where appropriate), thought leadership campaigns and conference/sponsorship opportunities.
* Monitor and evaluate the success of business development initiatives, providing insights and feedback to the BD Manager.
* Create credentials, case studies, capability statements, testimonials and other impactful and engaging client collateral for use in client engagement activities and to support the new business bid process.
* Work closely with the new business team to contribute to Real Estate specific bid responses for current or new cross division focused opportunities.
* Provide support to partners and fee earners in relation to client meetings, including compiling research findings, working with the Market & Data Insights team.
* Work with the Digital Marketing team to provide informative, engaging and topical content for our website and social media channels, writing copy as appropriate.
* Ensure the CRM system is updated with relevant client information.
* In collaboration with internal teams, provide e‑marketing support for events and client campaigns, such as setting up and editing mailing lists, working with the Events team.
* Collaborate with the client relations team to support specific client activity, sharing objectives, knowledge and insight.
* Develop relationships with key referral networks and industry/sector bodies to identify new opportunities.
* Assist with the awards and submission process, working closely with the BD Manager and Directories Manager to produce high quality submissions.
* Contribute to ad‑hoc Business Development projects.


Skills And Qualifications

* Previous business development/marketing experience from within a professional services environment. An understanding of the legal sector is advantageous.
* Creative and innovative approach, with the ability to contribute to new ideas and initiatives.
* A strong communicator with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
* Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels, with the confidence to liaise with credibility and enthusiasm.
* A supportive team player, able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and 'join the dots'.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Commercially aware, able to demonstrate the ability to add value in a proactive manner.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems (InterAction experience advantageous).
