An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Pricing Development in our Animal Health Pricing team. This strategic leadership role will oversee a team of six direct reports and drive the development and deployment of tariff pricing engines and impact analysis tools to support underwriting performance metrics outlined in the Corporate Plan.
Location: The position is structured as a hybrid role, based at our Guildford office with an expectation to work onsite 50% of the time.

Responsibilities
* Lead the prioritisation of price model development in Radar Live and coordinate oversight of test procedures and results to ensure timely delivery of changes to Allianz Health pricing engines.
* Coordinate and implement accurate impact analyses, simulations, and tariff optimisations to achieve business targets.
* Lead the creation, updates and further improvements of impact analysis tools and conversion models.
* Manage the performance and development of pricing team members, ensuring appropriate resources, objectives and personal development plans are in place.
* Contribute to strategic and tactical business developments by providing thought leadership and analysis.
* Champion innovation by proposing new solutions and improving pricing engines and impact analysis tools.
* Lead the continuous improvement of Pricing MI and Analysis requirements and processes.
Essential Skills
* Significant experience combining insurance pricing and data science in P&C insurance.
* Supervisory, management or team leadership experience.
* Proven ability to deliver projects with close collaboration with IT, underwriting, portfolio management and marketing teams.
* Strong statistical modelling, feature engineering, data visualisation and interpretation skills when working with large volumes of complex data.
* High level of numerical, analytical and logical reasoning skills.
* Expertise in data analytics tools such as Python, SAS, SQL and Allianz WTW tools (Radar and Emblem).
* Experience using Radar Live.
