Responsibilities
* Under the hierarchical responsibility of the Framatome Site Manager, support the EM2 Work Package Leaders in coordinating the EM2 package site works within the HPC construction site context.
* Coordinate the EM2.1 "Installation of main primary system components", EM2.2 "Installation of reactor equipment", and EM11.2 "Assistance to commissioning" in compliance with safety, quality, project schedule, and local labor regulations.
* Support the Work Package Leaders in managing interfaces with the Site manager, site staff, project department and erection engineering teams, other site units, QA, H&S, customer supervision, local administration, and safety authorities.
* Coordinate activities of teams to perform the scope of works and ensure schedules are achievable with available resources.
* Anticipate manpower needs and propose early completion or rescheduling where appropriate.
* Follow up non-conformance reports and manage observation sheets for EM2 works packages as requested by Leaders.
* Participate in internal coordination, progress, quality and budget site meetings; provide weekly reporting on EM2 activities as requested.
* Monitor progress of additional or contingency works, update forecasts, manage contracts with support from Project & Cost Control and administration sections.
* Ensure administrative and Health & Safety rules are applied on site and establish a permanent monitoring system.
* Capitalize feedback from operations for future projects.
Qualifications
Educational Basics:
* Masters degree
Professional Basics:
* Qualified general engineer with extensive experience in new works, large-scale maintenance operations, large component replacement (RPVH, SG, etc.), and management of projects abroad.
* Ability to manage a team of over one hundred people including expatriates, local personnel, and subcontractors with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
* Experience in erection site organization, budget and subcontract management.
* Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical assembly and welding.
* Strong internal and external communication skills and didactic ability.
* Well-developed organizational and methodological skills.
* Ability to form quality relationships with internal units, customers, subcontractors and local service providers.
* Soft skills: Very good communication, management, schedule planning; English fluent; IT proficiency (MS 365, COEDM, Teamcenter).
