The Opportunity
We are disrupting the traditional financial due diligence model through data analytics and advanced technology tools. As an Assistant Director, you will play a pivotal role in the high‑speed financial due diligence phase of M&A deals, delivering deeper insights and challenging value drivers with AI‑powered solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Work across multiple M&A projects as part of a cross‑service line team, collaborating with financial due diligence professionals.
* Understand key business drivers, co‑develop client approaches, and agree on value measurements.
* Provide insights, factual conclusions, and advice to clients, banks and investors through written reports and presentations.
* Project‑manage teams; build and maintain internal and external networks.
* Identify and sell additional services in collaboration with transaction diligence and other EY departments.
* Serve as a business advisor and key client contact, driving client service framework initiatives.

To qualify for the role
* Strong commercial experience and/or relevant industry or transaction experience, including financial due diligence.
* Proficiency in data manipulation and integration analytic tools (Alteryx, SQL, Excel).
* Passion for high‑quality client service and a desire to share knowledge through training.
* Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
* Extensive stakeholder and client communication experience.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
* Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced analytics languages (Python, SQL, R).
* Leadership experience in a high‑paced transaction environment.
* Effective time‑management and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
* Team‑player skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
