This is a senior role where youll oversee everything from concept and design through to tooling and production, managing a skilled, multidisciplinary team and delivering high-precision products to customers in aerospace, defence, automotive, and industrial sectors.
The right candidate will have a strong manufacturing or engineering background, ideally with experience in composites or advanced materials, along with expertise in Design for Manufacture (DFM), CAD (SolidWorks), and tooling design.

YOUR NEW ROLE The Head of Engineering and Development will lead all engineering and product development activities from concept and design through to production handover.
You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, to the highest standards, and aligned with commercial objectives.

ABOUT YOU Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven leadership experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally in composites or advanced materials.
Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks essential) and familiar with a range of manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources, and multiple concurrent projects.
