We are seeking an Early Years Assistant to join Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool, located in Southborough near Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, with good transport links. The preschool offers a 66-place setting for children aged 2 to 5 years, situated on the edge of Southborough Woods next to St Peters Church, with ample parking. Housed in an old schoolhouse, it features three large rooms and a spacious garden. The team has over 100 years of collective early years experience and is rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

The Role
Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can enjoy the flexibility of bank/agency work combined with the security and benefits of being an employee—offering the best of both worlds!
In this role, you will work with a team to care for babies and children up to age 5. You will engage in interactive play, reading, and activities to stimulate curiosity and support each child's development towards key milestones.
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential—possible backgrounds include Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar
* A passion for making learning fun and engaging
* Effective communication skills with children and adults
* Flexibility and adaptability
