Shift Pattern- 4on4off Nights 18:00-06:00am
Salary- From £31,577
To assist in the day-to-day running of the warehouse in line with Company and customer standards.
To lead a team ensuring good productivity, loading accuracy and the overall performance of the warehouse is achieved to meet customer and company service levels.
Main Responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor:
1. To supervise the warehouse staff to ensure that warehouse disciplines are rigidly maintained.
2. To be responsible for the achievement of daily KPI's in order that:
3. Daily targets are met
4. Despatch requirements are met
5. Delivery targets are met
6. Loading accuracy
7. Ensuring all operatives are trained in the warehouse discipline of loading/unloading and to arrange retraining where necessary.
8. Ensure that company standards of hygiene and housekeeping are achieved and take appropriate action where it is not found.
9. Ensure that the Company Health & Safety Rules are enforced in the warehouse, and any issues are reported in line with company procedures
10. Identifying procedures and our systems used which could be improved to help minimize warehouse errors and maximize staff productivity.
11. To manage day-to-day team issues including holidays authorization and arranging cover, timekeeping and absence monitoring, completion of daily time sheets.
12. To manage any performance issues with the team in liaison with the Warehouse Managers and HR.
Qualifications
13. FLT Licence
14. Good working knowledge of MS Office – Word and Excel
15. Operational experience within a FMCG warehouse environment
16. Warehouse health & safety legislation
17. Operational methods and procedures relating to the FMCG industry
18. Operational experience within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment is desirable
19. Results focus and commitment to goals and values
