The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in leading, supporting, and inspiring a team of residential childcare workers to deliver outstanding care.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
· Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding.
· Ensure the home meets all Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
· Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and the implementation of individual care plans.
· Act as a role model, promoting a positive, child-centred culture.
· Take on responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
· Experienced in residential childcare, ideally at Senior or Deputy Manager level.
· Qualified to at least Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards.
· Knowledgeable in safeguarding, regulations, and quality standards.
· Able to lead a team with enthusiasm, resilience, and empathy.
· Committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
