Reporting
Reports to the Irish Distillers marketing team, with a dotted line to the BA Programmes team in Dublin and the local commercial team in Belfast.

Overview
The Jameson Brand Ambassador role involves translating brand ambition into authentic experiences, building trust with bartenders, consumers, and trade partners, and igniting advocacy that scales across markets. You will lead product training, host tastings, support events and develop relationships, helping to grow the brand’s visibility and relevance in your market.
Key Responsibilities
Approximately 80–90% of your time will be spent sharing whiskey knowledge with new faces in the market, educating consumers, bartenders & sales teams about the history, heritage & craft credentials of Jameson Irish Whiskey. The remaining 10–20% will be office‑based, supporting the local marketing team in planning, executing and evaluating activations, reporting on activity, processing expenses and providing market insights.
Core Areas
* Brand Education – support the local sales team in educating staff and key trade accounts, conduct tastings and education for groups of industry influencers & target consumers.
* Brand Activation – collaborate with local brand and sales teams to identify and execute a range of activations, from events to unique experiences, building awareness and creating development opportunities.
* Cultural Advocacy – engage with the local cultural landscape, connect with musicians, creators and other community figures, collaborate to authentically drive brand awareness.
* Content Creation – capture on‑brand content for local and global brand channels.
* Share of Mind – ensure the Jameson brand remains front of mind with consumers.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Relevant third‑level qualification or equivalent experience.
* Full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
* Full legal right to work in Ireland.
* Bartending and/or hospitality experience.
* Experience or interest in travel.
* Interest in music, art and culture.
* Confident communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills.
* Outgoing, personable with excellent relationship‑building ability.
* Positive, proactive mindset with strong “can‑do” attitude.
* Commercially aware with sound business acumen.
* Creative, innovative and collaborative approach.
* Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work independently, with strong IT skills.
* Ability to adapt to new countries, cultures and situations.
