Job Summary
As a Social Worker, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge in Leeds, supporting women over 18 who have complex emotional and mental health problems. You will help these service users move towards sustainable discharge by managing a complex caseload, conducting social care and risk assessments, facilitating group activities, and supporting the development of life skill plans.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per year. Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Full‑time (37.5 hours) or part‑time (22.5 hours).
Responsibilities
* Conduct social care and risk assessments for each service user.
* Facilitate group activities and individual care plans.
* Contribute to ICR meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
* Manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities during admission and discharge processes.
* Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation in line with CPA format.
* Provide safeguarding referrals to LADO and Local Authority, and educate staff on safeguarding matters.
* Assist in accessing welfare rights, housing, and advocacy services for service users.
* Participate in regular supervision sessions.
Qualifications
* A Social Work degree.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults in a similar environment.
* Demonstrated experience with risk assessment and safeguarding procedures.
