Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planner to join our project management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules using Safron. The Planner will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely planning, monitoring, and reporting of project activities, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Safron, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activities, dependencies, lookaheads and milestones. Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Identify potential schedule risks, delays, and bottlenecks and provide recommendations for mitigation. Support risk analysis against project schedules from a time& cost point of view to establish any impact to key schedule dates and forecasts. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to collect data for schedule updates. Prepare and present schedule reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management and clients. Assist in the development of project planning procedures, standards, and best practices. Support project controls activities, including resource planning, cost integration, and progress tracking. Attend project meeting to report on project performance. Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements related to project scheduling, which will the inclusion of budgeted hours and all project costs for labour, materials and subcontract works. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler using Safron. Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling methodologies (critical path identification/analysis, milestone charts, float management including erosion etc.), and project controls principles. Experience with reporting tools and progress tracking techniques, that include ERP systems and Microsoft excel Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of maritime, engineering, or oil & gas projects is highly desirable.
