Our client are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as a sales / customer service consultant. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering relationships and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring a seamless experience.

Part of an Employee-Owned business

Role and Responsibilities
In this exciting sales and customer service role, you will manage historic accounts and generate new business by prospecting potential customers. This includes managing fuel usage and highlighting the range of services and products offered by the business.
Key Expectations
Customer Focus : Put the customer at the heart of everything, promoting positive interactions at every opportunity.
Industry Knowledge : Demonstrate a desire to learn about the industry, products, and services to benefit customers.
Communication Skills : Build and maintain excellent communication skills to handle customer requests, provide quotations, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Data Management : Work with customer data to understand needs, tailor approaches, and provide suitable options and quotations with a resilient and positive attitude.
Regulatory Adherence : Always follow the rules and regulations of relevant regulatory bodies.
Pipeline Management : Work independently to manage your pipeline, callbacks, and potential leads to maximize opportunities.
Attention to Detail : Focus on accuracy, detail, and time management in tasks such as:
Processing orders in the required format/system.
Tracking all sales activity as required.
Updating customer information with relevant notes, updates, and actions.
Process Improvement : Share ideas and product pain points with your leader to improve processes and products.
Relationship Building : Develop strong, ongoing relationships with suppliers, customers, and other departments.
Team Collaboration : Build effective working relationships with team members and departments to optimize opportunities and share best practices.
Training and Development : Carry out regular training and assist others with their training needs.
Personal Conduct : Maintain high standards of personal conduct at all times.
Independent and Team Work : Work well independently and positively impact team dynamics.
Margin Management : Understand margin management and effective negotiation skills to secure and grow volume within the business.
Performance Tracking : Track performance, deliver against monthly targets, and achieve overall company KPIs to meet monthly budgets.
Experience
B2B or B2C sales experinced
Customer service experience
Knowledge of pipelines and building key relationships
