Arlesey Car and Commercials is a small family ran business which started in 1983. At present we have 5 office staff, 4 fully qualified mechanics, a workshop assistant and an apprentice. We are always keen to expand our work force to keep up with the ever-expanding workload.

Vehicle repairer Arlesey Car and Commercials Ltd is a successful commercial vehicle workshop and Isuzu dealership with regular contract vehicle maintenance managed inhouse.

We are a VOSA-approved Authorised Testing Facility (ATF). The ATF test station offers open access testing for heavy goods vehicles, trailers, minibuses and coaches. In 2014 the company also put in a Class 4, 5 and 7 MOT lane to further improve the service its offering.

We are now looking for a reliable and keen individual to assist within our busy office to maintain the smooth day to day running of the business.

The job will include but not be limited to the following tasks –

* Parts administration and sales (including stock management)

* Service desk assistance / holiday cover (to include bookings and daily management)

* Invoicing

* Answering Phones

* Assisting office staff with required tasks

The Ideal candidate would be working 09:00 – 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Previous office work experience is necessary.

The role would suit an enthusiastic, friendly individual who can work well as a team but also initiative to carry out their own tasks. Training and supervision will be provided.

Experience within the transport industry would be ideal due to the nature of the job.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
