Due to rapid company expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Management Accountant to join our emerging and growing finance team. The ideal candidate will support the Head of Finance in delivering timely, accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to build technical depth in a high-impact finance team.
This role is crucial in helping us maintain financial health and integrity as we continue to grow. The successful applicant will have experience of management accounting and financial reporting and have an AAT qualification or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (qualified by experience would be considered).

Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and post monthly journals
· Support the month-end and year-end close process
· Assist with preparation of internal reporting packs for senior leadership
· Manage payroll processing alongside HR and external providers
· Support budget monitoring and variance analysis
· Support with finance business partnering activities
· Assist with controls testing and controls improvements work
· Contribute to finance process improvements and documentation
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· AAT Level 4 achieved and/or registered with ACCA, CIMA or equivalent and actively studying
· Experience in a similar finance role (2–3 years preferred)
· Strong understanding of core accounting principles and month-end routines
· Confident user of Excel and accounting systems (Xero, Access, etc.)
· Analytical, detail-oriented and able to work independently
· Proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong communication skills
· Strong organisation and time management skills
· Strong communication skills
· Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
