As a Supplier Manager in DWP Digital’s Digital Modernisation & Efficiency (DME) team, you’ll manage supplier relationships end-to-end, driving value, tracking spend, and supporting service transformation. You’ll work with internal teams and external suppliers, interpreting financial data, resolving issues, and planning procurement to ensure contracts meet business needs.
What you will do
* Capture supplier requirements (technical and non-technical) and align them with internal governance and affordability.
* Own cost models for your portfolio, track spend against contracts, and support procurement planning and strategy.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers; act as a key point of contact and escalation.
* Drive performance improvements, manage renewals, and ensure supplier arrangements deliver high-quality, user-focused services.

* Supplier Engagement & Commercial Collaboration: gathering requirements and working with Commercial teams to place contracts with value for money.
* Stakeholder Relationships: building trusted relationships with colleagues, senior managers and stakeholders.
* Financial Management: working with financial data, forecasting spend, and tracking against budget.
* Delivery Under Pressure: meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
* Communication & Negotiation: strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve win-win outcomes.

* Salary up to £39,621 plus employer pension contributions of 28.9%.
