Job Title: Surveyor – Laser Scanning & Photogrammetry\n Location: Near Swindon, Wiltshire\n Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum\n Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent\n \n You must have at least 2 years relevant experience, a full UK driving License and the right to work in UK (No sponsorship available due to hiring timescales.)\n \n About The Client:\n Our client is a well-established surveying firm based near Swindon, Wiltshire, known for delivering high-precision measurement and imaging services. Their expertise spans various sectors, including heritage, infrastructure, and industrial projects.?\n \n Role Overview:\n We are seeking a skilled Surveyor with proficiency in laser scanning and photogrammetry to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys, processing data, and producing accurate 2D and 3D models.
This role offers the opportunity to work on heritage and unusual projects and contribute to the advancement of the companies surveying capabilities.\n \n Key Responsibilities:\nConduct high-precision laser scanning and photogrammetric surveys across various project sites.\nProcess and analyse survey data to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.\nCollaborate with clients and project teams to ensure data accuracy and project requirements are met.\nMaintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.\nStay updated with the latest surveying technologies and methodologies.\n Requirements:\nAt least two years of proven experience in laser scanning and photogrammetry.\nProficiency in using surveying software such as Blender, Photoshop, iTwin Capture Modeler (the new name for ContextCapture), Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, Leica Cyclone, LSS or similar for creating highly accurate and precise digital models.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nValid UK driving license.\n Desirable:\nExperience in heritage or infrastructure projects.\nFamiliarity with BIM processes and standards.\nMembership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CICES).\n Benefits:\nCompetitive salary within the specified range.\nOpportunities for professional development and training.\nParticipation in diverse and challenging projects, sometimes on high profile, landmark sites.\nSupportive team environment.?Application Process: Please apply or call Simon Cowley on (phone number removed) for more information
