Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing planning policies that support sustainable initiatives
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with regional and national planning frameworks
Conducting policy reviews and providing recommendations for improvements
Facilitating consultations and workshops with community and industry stakeholders
Preparing detailed reports and presentations for policy proposals
Advising on planning applications and compliance with policy standards
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of planning policies
Staying updated with legislative changes and best practices in town planning
Job Requirements:
Experience in town planning and planning policy
Strong knowledge of regional and national planning frameworks
Proficiency in conducting policy reviews and providing strategic recommendations
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Ability to manage stakeholder consultations and workshops effectively
Understanding of the legislative context and best practices in the field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Relevant degree in town planning, urban planning, or a related discipline
