The PCI (Payment Card Industry) Lead performs a pivotal role. It is responsible for helping the organisation manage and enforce the controls needed to enable compliance with PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This position requires a deep understanding of PCI DSS requirements, cybersecurity best practices, and effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

What You'll Be Doing:
* The PCI Lead’s responsibilities are to protect the organisation’s payment card data and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.
* Work closely with the security control owners (within JD Sports, its subsidiaries, franchises, and strategic partners globally) to ensure that all security controls deployed for PCI purposes are effective and operating as required,
* Engage constructively with security architects to help drive PCI control requirements definition and solutions,
* Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure adherence to PCI DSS standards,
What We're Looking For:
* Proven track record of advising on and driving PCI-DSS compliance for large organisations (ideally within a retail environment).
* In-depth understanding of PCI DSS requirements (including up-to-date knowledge of the latest changes and updates to the PCI DSS requirements) )and how they apply to different environments,
* Strong risk assessment and management skills to identify and mitigate PCI-related threats and vulnerabilities,
* Experience managing compliance programs and ensuring ongoing compliance with PCI DSS,
