Job Title: Installation Engineer – Fire & Security Salary: Up to £42,000 (depending on experience) Overtime Location: South East (Ideally based in Essex) About The Client Our client is a trusted name in delivering high-end fire and security installations across the South East and beyond. Key Responsibilities Install and commission security systems including intruder alarms (Grade 3), IP CCTV (March Networks), access control (Paycom), intercoms, and PA systems (Scotia) Work on commercial sites across the South East. Deliver high-quality, compliant installations with minimal disruption to clients Liaise effectively with project managers and clients on-site Ensure work meets current industry standards and company expectations Occasional stays away from home and out-of-hours work (overnight and meal allowances provided) Key Competencies Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security industry Proficient in intruder alarms, IP CCTV, access control, and intercoms Experience with fire alarm installation (desirable but not essential) Familiarity with systems such as Paycom, March Networks, C-Cure, and Scotia Strong communication and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check due to high-security contracts (e.g. banking sector) Team player with a proactive and professional approach Benefits Competitive salary up to £42,000 (DOE) Enhanced overtime: Weekday OT at 1.5x after 5:30 PM Saturday OT at 1.5x until lunch, then 2x £35 daily meal allowance and £25 overnight allowance when staying away Company van, mobile phone, and laptop 25 days annual leave 5% pension (after probation) Career progression within a growing, professional team Ongoing training and development Employee Ownership Trust – have a real stake in your company’s success Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Supportive management and a professional working environment Apply Today!
