The Governing Body is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic SEMH & Behaviour Learning Support Practitioner to work full time Monday to Friday. We are looking to appoint an empathetic, patient & resilient person to work with identified pupils from across school who have social, emotional and or behavioural difficulties which act as a barrier to learning to support them to thrive in a supportive & inclusive environment. The position will involve working with individual pupils and small groups, liaising with teachers, SENCo, outside agencies, other support staff & parents. Ideally, you will have practical experience of working with EYFS /Primary children with SEMH needs & can recognize & respond to the impact of adverse childhood experiences & implement trauma-informed practices to support pupils affected by trauma.
