GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teacher to work in specialist and mainstream schools in and around Gainsborough. This is an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teacher with a genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Responsibilities as a SEN Teacher: Plan and deliver personalised, inclusive lessons tailored to pupils with SEND. Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment. Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting plans where necessary. Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing in learners. Uphold a strong safeguarding culture at all times. To be a SEN Teacher, candidates will require: A mandatory UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching pupils with special educational needs (SEMH, ASC, MLD, etc.). Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management strategies. Be empathetic, adaptable, and resilient in challenging situations.
