An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide specialized education services in a K-12 environment. This contract position runs from August 1, 2025, to December 16, 2025, with a schedule of Mondays through Wednesdays, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role involves working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 25 students, tailoring educational experiences to meet individual needs.
Qualifications:
* Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education
* Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in developing and implementing IEPs
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
* Previous experience facilitating IEP meetings and evaluations
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct special education services as outlined in student IEPs
* Develop, write, and review IEPs in partnership with families and educational teams
* Lead and facilitate IEP meetings to discuss student progress and necessary adjustments
* Participate in Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) meetings for student assessments
* Collaborate with general education staff and service providers to create a supportive learning environment
