We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Physycs and Science Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate IB Physics and Science Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based instruction in Physics and General Science in alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and/or Middle Years Programme (MYP). The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, innovative pedagogy, and student-centered learning.
Key Responsabilities:
Teaching&Curriculum
-Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in IB DP Physics and General Science (MYP or Pre-IB), following IB curriculum frameworks and standards.
-Incorporate inquiry-based learning, experiental activities, and concept-based approaches in the classroom.
-Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
-Prepare students for Internal Assessments (IA) and IB external examinations.
-Integrate technology and real-world apllications into science instructions.
Assessment&Reporting
-Develop and administer formative and summative assessments aligned with IB assessment criteria.
-Maintaing accurate and detailed records of student progress.
-Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and communicate progress effectively to parents and guardians.
-Write detailed reports in line with school and IB expectations.
Collaboration&Professional Development
-Collaborate with science department colleagues, the IB Coordinator, and other faculty to support curriculum planning and interdisciplinary teaching.
-Participate in IB workshops, school-based PD, and collaborative planning sessions.
-Stay current with educational research and developments in science education.
Student Support&Mentorship
-Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning enviroment that encourages student curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
-Act as a homeroom/advisory teacher or Extended Essay supervisor, as required.
-Provide academic support to students.
