The home is relaxed and welcoming, with two working parents commuting to London for much of the week. The focus of the role is childcare for the youngest child, with an emphasis on reading, writing, and early learning after school, alongside light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Key Responsibilities
* School pick-up for the younger child and after-school care
* Supporting reading, writing, and early tutoring activities
* Preparing healthy dinners for the children (and occasionally for the family)
* Assisting with the evening routine and creating a calm, structured environment
* Light housekeeping and nursery duties as required
* Helping to keep the home tidy and organised
* Caring approach to pets (dog and cat)
Requirements
* Previous experience as a nanny or nanny housekeeper with school-aged children
* Able to support reading, writing, and early education activities
* Confident driver (car provided for use on duty)
* Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Warm, kind, and trustworthy with excellent communication skills
* Comfortable in a blended, busy family environment
* Additional language skills (Spanish or French) highly desirable
