Location: On Campus at Lord Wandsworth College
Contract: Permanent, Term Time (33 weeks) plus 4 weeks
Salary: £26,800 (FTE) per annum
The College Office Administrator is a customer‑facing role managing the College Office and reception area at Lord Wandsworth College. The role provides a first point of contact for LWC and ensures that key stakeholders receive clear, up‑to‑date information regarding enquiries. The College Office team delivers an outstanding customer journey, welcoming visitors and supporting academic, pastoral and business staff with administrative support, data collection, system maintenance, and report production.
Responsibilities
* Greeting and welcoming all visitors to create a positive first impression of the College.
* Answering calls and managing the switchboard.
* Completing secretarial and admin duties for departments, including mailings to parents, academic guides, and exam papers.
* Maintaining and updating records in the College’s MIS, collating data stories and analysis, and administering iSAMS, SOCs, CPOMs, and other systems.
* Using Excel and Power BI to analyse data and produce accessible reports for middle and senior leaders.
* Managing and maintaining communications such as parent communications and proofreading publications.
* Supporting LWC staff with administrative tasks such as organising school and house photos, producing the school calendar, managing prefect selection, pupil attendance registers, missing pupil procedures, and mobile phone confiscation.
* Managing and producing various lists/forms, including driving lists, telephone lists, and visiting speaker forms.
* Assisting with admin for events such as parents’ evenings, testing days, open events, and boarders’ trips.
* Coordinating changes to LWC policies, formatting and maintaining them on the College’s platforms.
* Developing documentation needed for inspections, including AGBIS checklist and Self‑Evaluation Form.
* Developing ISI Pupil surveys, analysing results, and producing presentations.
* Supporting the broader safeguarding team with administration in sensitive pupil situations.
* Providing additional administration as required for co‑curricular, Project 1200, and outdoor learning initiatives.
