About the role:
We are looking to appoint 2 Production Operatives at our Castleford Site. On the following shift
Night shift Sun to Thu 22.00 to 06.15
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Your main duties will be to inspect and repair wooden pallets in a fast-paced environment, operating a pneumatic nail gun and reciprocating saw in accordance with specification and safe operating procedures (SOP) in line with risk assessments. You must comply with site rules and regulations and always work safely. The role involves a high degree of manual handling, lifting, bending and twisting.
The role will also involve forklift truck duties which will include loading and unloading trailers as well as feeding our production lines with pallets, although previous forklift truck experience and license is desirable, we will develop and train the right applicants with these skills.
Skills and Experience:
Good communication skills with the ability to reasonably communicate in English as well as comprehend written instructions.
The ability to work as part of a team or work on your own initiative as and when required.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, although full training will be given.

£20.00 per week attendance allowance
£8.00 per completed night shift.
