Our client operate in the retail distribution sector and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our clients team on interim basis.
As an integral part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the financial accounting and year end reporting process. You will play a significant role in steering the finance function through a period of rapid expansion and transformation.
3 days working from home, 2 days in the office.
Duties Will Include:
1. Efficiently complete monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting for various operating expenses of the trading business Full year end accounts
2. Support the Finance Director in further aspects of financial accounting and management reporting as part of the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle
3. Provide ad-hoc financial guidance to support the wider business
4. Support the UK&I statutory reporting obligations including stat accounts production and audit
About You:
5. ACA /ACCA /CIMA part qualified with experience
6. Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of building relationships outside of the Finance function Outstanding organisational and analytical skills
7. Experience in Microsoft packages required and Oracle financial systems preferred
8. Self motivated, keen to achieve targets, focuses on results
9. Able to demonstrate ownership and personal responsibility
