Credit Controller - 28,000 to 32,000 Otley - 25 Days plus Bank Holidays
Axon Moore is delighted to partner with a reputable and established business based in Otley to recruit a Credit Controller to join their high-performing and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Process new account applications, including reviewing and interpreting financial information.
2. Perform credit checks on accounts to assess creditworthiness.
3. Conduct checks before creating and amending customer account details to ensure accuracy.
4. Proactively liaise with customers via telephone and email to ensure timely collection of receivables.
5. Handle credit-held orders efficiently, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
6. Manage direct debit cancellations and returns, ensuring prompt follow-up.
7. Process card payments accurately and promptly.
8. Assist with resolving customer queries and disputes related to payments.
What you will need to succeed:
1. Relevant Credit Control or Accounts Receivable experience.
2. Ability to build relationships with clients and engage with stakeholders internally and externally.
3. Strong customer query resolution skills.
4. Ability to build positive team relationships.
5. Ability to work to deadlines and manage a busy workload.
6. Accuracy and timeliness in work execution.
