Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic New Business Manager to lead new client acquisition efforts in the Free Trade. This role focuses on identifying and securing opportunities with Multiple Retail Groups and other On Trade partners, contributing to growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the On Trade channel using market data and insights.
* Develop and execute strategies that expand market reach and differentiate from competitors.
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
* Present a tailored portfolio of products and services to meet customer demand.
* Use structured negotiation tools and techniques to maximize contract value.
* Collaborate with internal teams to adapt offerings in line with evolving market trends and customer needs.
* Independently create and implement sales strategies to meet business development targets.
* Provide regular reporting on performance, pipeline progress, and industry trends.
* Work cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, and operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful delivery of new business initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Growth in On Trade market share
* Delivery of premium beer volumes
* Contribution to external profit/barrel
* Performance vs. budgeted EBITDA
Candidate Profile:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
* Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills
* Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
* Relevant industry certifications a plus
* Full UK driving license required
