31 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift
Position: Full-Time (37.Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)
We're looking for a dedicated Male Support Worker to join our team in B17, supporting a fantastic gentleman in his 30s with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy.
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You'll be supporting one gentleman who lives with autism, a learning disability, and epilepsy (currently experiencing well-managed absence seizures). His family is very involved-his mum regularly calls, and his dad helps with the garden and car.
Laughing and joking with his team-he thrives on positive, consistent support
This is a 2:1 support role at all times, with long day shifts and sleep-ins. Providing Personal Care: Supporting with all aspects of daily living
Promoting Independence: Encouraging him to try new activities and build confidence
Supporting Communication: Administering medication and monitoring for seizure activity
Engaging in Activities: From sensory play to community outings, you'll help him enjoy life to the fullest
Shift Patterns:
Sleep-In Shifts: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Paid to sleep)
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
Encouraging & Supportive: Willing to try new things and help him explore new interests
Comfortable in Water: Must be happy to support swimming activities
Positive Behaviour Support training is provided, and you'll be supported every step of the way.
