Our client, a leading financial services business, is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Decision Support Manager to join their dynamic finance team. Your new role
Key responsibilities will be varied and include:
1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conductingprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
2. Business Partnering:Collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
3. Strategic Planning:Contributing to the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans. Identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitoring financial performance and providing actionable insights.
5. Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance metrics to track business progress. Analysing variances and rmending corrective actions.
6. Risk Management:
Identifying and assessing financial risks. Developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensurepliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and systems. Implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Leadership:
Mentoring and developing junior finance team members. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the finance department.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications:
9. Professional Certification: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
10. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a finance role, with a focus on decision support and strategic planning.
