We are seeking an experienced Freelance Contract Manager to support the delivery of major civil engineering rail projects across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile rail infrastructure schemes within a fast-paced, collaborative project environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage and administer contracts across civil rail projects in line with NEC (NEC3/NEC4) conditions * Oversee commercial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting * Lead change management processes, including compensation events and variations * Support procurement, subcontract management, and final account agreements * Work closely with project managers, commercial teams, and site teams to mitigate risk Requirements * Proven experience as a Contract Manager within civil engineering and rail infrastructur * Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential * Experience on Network Rail or major rail frameworks preferred Rate is upto £450 per day, long term work.
