Are you an exceptional teacher ready to take your career to the next level? Lift Bexleyheath is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated SENDCO to champion the needs of our students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is your chance to make a real difference!
Your Role
As our SENDCO, you will be the driving force behind innovative, evidence-based support for children with identified SEND needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and coordinating SEND provision to ensure it is efficiently and effectively managed.
* Providing professional guidance to secure high-quality teaching for all students.
* Monitoring progress and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching and learning to drive improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status and a commitment to ongoing professional development in SEND.
* Experience working with parents to support SEND children.
* A proven track record as an excellent classroom teacher.
* A thorough understanding of statutory regulations related to SEND and equality.
* Experience collaborating with external agencies.
