Join #teamdarlo at the new distribution centre opening in Q4. You will help develop our transport operations from day one and be part of our network expansion. If you transfer to Darlington, your continuity of employment will not be affected, and benefits like private healthcare, cycle to work scheme, and extra holidays will continue. Please note, transfer to Darlington would be on the advertised rate and new T&Cs.

What You'll Do:
As Fleet Manager, you’ll manage and coordinate our fleet activities with a focus on:
Service Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed service expectations.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure LGV and HGV fleets are maintained to the highest standards, adhering to all statutory requirements.
Cost Management: Lead efforts to reduce maintenance costs while meeting budgets and delivery schedules.
Empower Teams: Coach depot personnel, promoting continuous improvement and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide fleet management services aligned with policies.
* Manage contractors for quality and cost efficiency.
* Assist in formulating annual budgets with industry standards in mind.
* Advise on health and safety policies for safe vehicle operation.
* Control maintenance procedures to enhance fleet efficiency and minimise downtime.
