As a Business Development Manager within Elior's Education sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored catering and support service solutions that align with Elior's values and strategic goals.
This is a home-based role with all necessary office equipment provided, offering flexibility and independence. You can be based anywhere in the North; a full UK driving licence is essential, as some travel will be required.

What you'll be doing...
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. You'll build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, develop strategic sales plans, and work cross-functionally to deliver business objectives.
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target new business opportunities within the education sector, including MATs, academies, local authority and colleges.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting compelling solutions.
Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end bid process, including proposal development, pricing strategy, presentations, and contract negotiation.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector developments to inform strategy and positioning.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, finance, and culinary teams to develop innovative and commercially viable service offerings.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM.
Working pattern: Monday - Friday
What can you bring? Proven track record in business development or sales within the education or contract catering sector.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of public sector procurement and tendering processes.
