Role
We are seeking a SENDCo at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, a member of the St Francis Catholic MAT. This is an exciting time to join a growing Catholic Trust of 14 schools (aiming for 24) in line with the Bishop of Hallam’s vision for education. The successful candidate will join a network of SENDCos and may have opportunities to pursue Trust Leadership in the future.

The role offers mentorship and professional development with the Trust Director of Inclusion.
Responsibilities
* Design a new approach to SEND provision at St Joseph’s and work with the Headteacher and Trust colleagues to build the SEND strategy from the ground up.
* Collaborate with a committed network of SENDCos and seek opportunities to contribute to Trust-wide practice.
* Revolutionise access to SEND provision for pupils with additional needs.
* Engage with mentorship, guidance and professional development provided by the Trust Director of Inclusion.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
* Ability to lead SEND provision and work across a Trust-led network; experience with SEND leadership is welcome but candidates new to SEND leadership are also encouraged.
* Commitment to high-quality education and to the values of a Catholic school community.
* Strong collaboration and willingness to engage with Trust colleagues and Headteacher.
