AWS runs a globally distributed environment, operating at massive levels of scale. Businesses, from start-ups to enterprises, run their operations and applications on Amazon’s multi-tenant infrastructure. AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. Collaborate with the global services teams to identify product improvement opportunities, explore innovative solutions and manage new feature requests. Participate in the on call rotation. Contribute and review onboarding technical documentation in accordance with specific regional security requirements. Collaborate with internal service teams and customers to establish baselines, set security requirements, controls and objectives. A day in the life You will exercise sound judgement to achieve regional security and business objectives, demonstrating resilience and navigating difficult situations with composure and tact. Your day will involve analysing your own performance critically, maintaining a broad understanding of AWS business interconnections, and providing training, advice and mentorship to other AWS teams.
