Junior Architectural Technician / Graduate Architectural Technologist – Cambridge
If you're starting out in your career and you want a role where you'll build real technical experience, work across different sectors, and learn from people around you every day, this position can give you all of that.
This is a Cambridge-based, RIBA Chartered practice of around 20 people, delivering projects from £500k to £30m across leisure, education, industrial/logistics and residential. You'll join a team working on sizeable schemes, so you'll get exposure to proper project work early on.
The experience you'll gain
* Producing drawing packages in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM
* Supporting the technical delivery of projects across different RIBA stages
* Assisting with planning, technical and construction information
* Working with architects, technologists and consultants to keep projects moving
* Learning how projects come together in practice, not just on paper
You'll suit this if you've got
* A degree in Architectural Technology or a related qualification, or some experience working as an Architectural Technician
* Some UK practice experience, whether through a placement year, internship, or full-time role
* AutoCAD experience
* Revit/BIM experience or a genuine interest in developing it
* A practical approach and a willingness to learn
* A full UK driving licence would help, but it's not essential
