Youll be involved from the design stage, right through to the build and implementation stages, so you can see your designs come to life. Youll be using SOLIDWORKS to develop designs. Youll also maintain detailed documents of designs, modifications and project progress. In this role youll be: · Testing and validating your designs to ensure sound performance · Involved in the build stage of the process, keeping your hands-on skills well polished · Providing support for modifications and design changes at build and commissioning stage PERSON SPECIFICATION: Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer - CAD, Print, Automation Ideally, youll have completed your degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have an interest in mechanical assembly design. Youll have experience working on 3D CAD, ideally with SOLIDWORKS, designing machinery with the likes of pneumatics and motors. Youll be hands on during the build phase.
