As part of our dedicated team, you’ll have the flexibility to work on-site or remotely, conducting telephone consultations or seeing patients face-to-face at our bases.</p><p>We are seeking experienced and motivated Advance Clinical Practitioners to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. As an ACP, you will work autonomously and collaboratively across the UTC, Emergency Department, and wider hospital services, managing a diverse caseload of patients presenting with urgent and emergency needs.</p><p>You should be a registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC) with advanced clinical skills, able to assess, diagnose, and manage patients confidently while contributing to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.</p><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li><b>Flexible Working Options</b>: Work remotely or on-site, with opportunities for face-to-face assessments, home visits, or telephone triage.</li><li><b>Career Development</b>: Regular clinical audits, feedback, and educational sessions, including peer support forums and monthly topical events.</li><li><b>Supportive Environment</b>: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Shift Managers, Drivers, and Call Handlers, with support always available.</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Carry out comprehensive history-taking, clinical examinations, and initial patient assessments in the UTC.</li><li>Diagnose and manage patients with undifferentiated illnesses and urgent and emergency conditions, including paediatrics.</li><li>Use advanced reasoning to create safe, patient-centred management plans with safety-netting advice.</li><li>Work flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues across the Emergency Department and community care pathways.</li><li>Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to guidelines, protocols, and service improvement</li></ul><h3>Person Specification</h3><h3>Essential</h3><ul><li>Current NMC/HCPC registration.</li><li>Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.</li><li>Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice (Level 7 or working towards).</li><li>Minimum 1-year ENP/ACP/NP experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Experience in <b>paediatrics</b>, including children under 2 years.</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Leadership or service improvement training.</li><li>Evidence of mentoring or teaching.</li></ul></div>
