We have been established for over 30 years and have ambitious plans for further growth in the coming years. Currently, we operate approximately 150 service vans and have committed to an investment of £2m in 2023 to commission 50 new mobile service vans, upgrading our existing fleet and adding additional vehicles. Operated by experienced and dedicated hydraulic engineers, we are proud of our success rate of over 99% of first-time repairs on site. Hydraquip have market leading technology to support our team including our customer portal which allows customers to book and track their hydraulic hose replacement and services, with real time job status updates. To support our growth plans, we are planning to recruit additional members to our team. A day in the life of a Hydraulic Engineer You can be workshop based or working on our customers sites, which include a wide range of industries including marine and heavy industry. Your role will include the mechanical maintenance and breakdown of hydraulics and pneumatics equipment, planned maintenance on a variety of machinery, carry out hydraulic pipe work bending and installation and to assist with fitting duties and to support engineers when and where necessary. You will also: Be expected to be part of an on-call rota (usually one week in three) with stand by cover paid, which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by overtime pay based on working hours worked per call out. Basic working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8am – 5:30pm. Ideally suited to a Mechanical Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer with an in depth knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Relevant apprenticeship or higher qualifications is preferred however experience and flexibility are key. You must hold a UK Driving Licence, ideally for a minimum of 2 years You will be a self-motivated person, who is punctual and reliable and takes pride in always delivering the highest levels of service.
