Role: Estate Administrator
Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload of estate administration files, including taxable and non-taxable estates, with a good understanding of estate administration processes. You will engage with clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings, and prepare relevant IHT returns such as IHT205, IHT400, and IHT421.
Knowledge of inheritance tax allowances, including the nil rate band and transferable nil rate band, is essential. Experience with business relief, agricultural relief, and estate structures like trusts and wills is desirable. You should understand will validity and interpretation, maintain estate accounts, and liaise with external advisors.
The role requires confidence to work autonomously, take initiative, and collaborate with team members of varying seniority. Familiarity with Probate Registry systems and Inland Revenue procedures is important.

Technical Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT skills
