Night Care & Support Assistant
Location: Elizabeth House Residential Home, Poole, BH12 4PX
Pay rate: £12.50 - £12.75 per hour + paid breaks
Hours: Bank Support Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a NightCare & Support Assistantto join the Bank Support Team atElizabeth House,our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesqueCanford HeathNature Reserve inPoole, Dorset.
Who we are looking for:
Elizabeth House is keen to meet people with agenuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
You'll need to be naturally compassionate and of course understanding of others.
Previous care experience is not essential for our Night Care & Support Team.
You may be in a customer care role or have helped within your community.A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.

What you will be doing:
* Delivering excellent person-centred care, focusing on the care needs of each individual resident with dignity and compassion.
* Following the care plans of our residents and fulfilling their personal needs – supporting with washing, dressing, toileting, food, drink & mobility.
* Building relationships and providing companionship – our residents wellbeing is paramount.
* Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible.
* Working as part of a team to create a safe, warm, friendly & welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors in their home.
