We're looking for a hands-on, part-time Assistant Property Manager to join our team.
At Tower Guardians, we specialise in a different kind of property management—one that focuses on securing vacant properties by placing "property guardians" or caretakers. Our role is all about providing a cohesive, practical security solution for landlords.
This isn't your typical desk job. As our Assistant Property Manager, you'll be proactive handling a wide range of tasks from day-to-day guardian support to hands-on repairs and building maintenance. If you're organised, IT literate and have a good knowledge of London, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
The role is part-time with flexible hours (approximately 20 hours per week) at £20 per hour plus expenses. You need to be able to work from home as well as on the go while visiting properties.
Key responsibilities include:
* Facilitating an smooth property management and guardian service
* Recruitment of property guardians, managing expectations and day to day queries
* Carrying out property inspections, viewings and reports as needed
* Helping with maintenance and repairs, and coordinating with contractors when needed
* Keeping on top of processes and paperwork
The ideal candidate will:
* Have excellent communication skills to deal with clients, contractors, guardians and management alike
* Be proficient in health & safety and able to correct issues before they arise
* Be able to prioritise work effectively, think on your feet and react to situations in a calm and professional manner
* Be proactive and hands-on in your approach to work, we are a small business and all need to roll our sleeves up
* Be IT literate and with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Have use of a car / bike or able to get around efficiently
