IT Support Technician, permanent, full time position, fully office based Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. Were continuing to grow and need a qualified and tech savvy, IT Support Technician with Active Directory, Office 365 and helpdesk support experience to join our friendly team. There is travel within the UK, so youll need a full driving licence and be a car owner. Youll be the first point of contact for our sites across the UK for all IT issues & requests and as part of this, youll travel to our sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. Responsibilities for IT Support Technician Provide IT Support on the helpdesk by both phone and email to a high standard. Manage the tickets received, taking corrective action, escalating any problematic issues to the appropriate IT resource when necessary. Take a proactive approach to housekeeping tasks, helping to improve security and reduce the risk of future issues. Create, manage and maintain user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory, Office 365 and other platforms. Assist with PC moves, setups, configurations and improvements. Take ownership of the groups IT inventory ensuring it's always up to date. Liaise with our IT suppliers to escalate issues, roll out updates and improvements.
