The Manchester School of Architecture is ranked 5th in the QS world university rankings and enjoys the unique context of being a collaboration between Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester. It is one of the largest Schools of Architecture in the country with over 1200 students (typically representing some 85 countries) and over 150 staff from diverse backgrounds, and is proud to retain both its quality and sense of community despite its size.

Responsibilities
* Teach and inspire undergraduate students in architectural design and conduct associated assessments.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to undergraduate students and maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
* Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students on topics such as architectural design methods, aesthetics and design, and structures and materials.
* Engage in the evaluation and development of units for which they have responsibility, in terms of content, delivery and assessment.
* Participate in campus and community events and study trips.
Qualifications
* Formal teaching experience in Architecture at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication qualities.
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
* Collaborative approach to working and an ability to ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning and teaching.
