Senior Progression Coach
£15.75 + £1.90 = £17.65Manchester37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm3 months with the potential for extension
Our clientMorgan Hunt are currently working with a national youth homelessness organisation, supporting young people across two services in Manchester. The service provides support to young people aged 16 - 25 who are at risk of homelessness.The role - Senior Progression Coach As a Senior Progression Coach, you will be responsible for;
* Managing 3 Progression Coaches and ensuring the high quality of risk and needs assessments, SMART outcomes - based support plans and case files for clients of your line reports.
* Delivering one to one and group support opportunities within the accommodation and local community.
* Supporting clients to participate in Education, Training and Employment opportunities as appropriate to the development of skills, assets and aspirations.
* Health and safety of the environment for clients, staff, visitors and volunteers through risk assessments and health and safety checks.
* Liaising with internal departments including HR, Finance, Fundraising and Business Development teams to ensuring the smooth running of the service.
The candidate
* Experience of working with young people or those who have experienced homelessness, mental health, substance misuse or a history of living in care.
* Experience of managing a staff team.
* Experience of using risk assessments and support plans.
