We have an AMAZING opportunity for a Children's Residential Support Worker in Spalding, Lincolnshire, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
You will be committed, passionate, and able to engage, encourage, and mentor the young people, while having fun! Activities include playing computer games, movie nights, and arts and crafts.
Note: Applicants must have a full driver's license and a car due to the nature of the job.
Overview:
* Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
* Salary: £30,062 to £34,488 (sleep allowance included)
* Location: Lincolnshire
* Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
* Shift Pattern: 1 on 2 off - 07:30-23:00 / Sleep-in / 07:00-23:00

Responsibilities:
* Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility.
* Maintain a homely, friendly environment.
* Handle challenging behaviours appropriately.
* Protect children from health and welfare risks.
* Support their independence and well-being.
* Ensure a safe environment.
* Keep updated with care plans and communication methods.
* Support poor behaviour safely and sympathetically.
* Build relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and professionals.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience in social care or with young people is desirable but not essential.
* MUST be a driver to transport young people.
* Over 21 years old.
* Empathetic, good listener, communicative, and helpful.
