If yes, then we want you to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract in Kirby Thore as a Weighbridge Operator.
The main purpose of the weighbridge operator is to ensure the smooth operation of the weighbridge facility, acting as the first and last point of contact for all staff and contractors.
The operator will also ensure all legal and contractual obligations are met, including site inductions and weight checks.
The weighbridge operator plays a key role in the transport function, liaising regularly with transport teams to deliver excellent service to our customer.

Pay, benefits and more:
You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between 06:00-18:00. The salary offered is £26,758. Benefits include 20 days' holiday, high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension, and more perks.
Typical daily responsibilities:
* Weigh in and out all vehicles, recording weights and ensuring variances are within tolerance.
* Comply with legislative requirements, company policies, and customer-specific standards.
* Ensure personnel entering the site are inducted via the rapid induct system.
* Verify only authorized vehicles and personnel enter the site, logging all entries and exits.
* Issue site rules to drivers.
* Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.
* Ensure shipments are dispatched on SAP.
* Adhere to all relevant company policies, legislative requirements, and codes of practice.
* Maintain confidentiality of company business.
* Act professionally, foster good relationships, and promote a positive company image.
* Challenge and investigate the presence of unauthorized persons on site when necessary.
Qualifications:
* Previous logistics experience preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
